Root Chakra
The Root Chakra represents what you are (“I am”), a physical body on the earth.
It is the energy centre from our very core foundation, from a child to adult. Ultimately responsible for feeling “grounded” and feeling that you belong. This chakra is represented with the red colour and is located at the base of the spine/tail bone.
Place your awareness on this energy centre, give it your attention and as you do your meditation give thanks and gratitude that you are here, living in this body.

Sacral Chakra
The Sacral Chakra represents your physical feelings, your creativity and joy of life.
When this chakra is balanced, we can expect our relationships with ourselves and the world to feel harmonious, nurturing and pleasureful.
The position is located just under your belly button where your bladder is holding fluids.

Solar Plexus Chakra
The Solar Plexus Chakra represents your relationship with yourself, your personal power, self-esteem, self-worth and your own freedom from shame.
When this chakra is unbalanced, you feel powerless, have low self-esteem and/or lack motivation to do things for yourself. Often giving your power away to others to keep the peace.
When this chakra is balanced, you know your power and use it in healthy ways. You trust your gut and don’t feel the need to have other people’s validation.
The position is the belly, where the fire in your belly burns.

Heart Chakra
The Heart Chakra represents love, spirituality, compassion and forgiveness. It is your emotional zone.

When this chakra is balanced, you feel comfortable in relationships, give and receive love with ease. You love yourself unconditionally.

Throat Chakra
The Throat Chakra represents your communication centre - your voice, your creative self-expression. Speaking your truth and being heard, understood and respected.
When this chakra is unbalanced, you may have a fear of speaking up, or feel others cannot truly hear your spoken words.
When this chakra is balanced, you feel comfortable with your communication, you talk your truth and know others listen. You’re confident in expressing yourself.
