Shipping Requirements

  • All orders require a mobile/cell number for our delivery partners to, if applicable, send SMS updates and to contact you if needed for delivery access.
  • We are unable to ship to lockers or P.O. Boxes due to courier requirements.
  • Orders will be delivered directly to a person and will not be left in a safe place unless you specifically instruct your delivery partner via email, SMS, or phone.

Tracking

Tracking numbers/links are provided via automated email or SMS once your order has been dispatched.

Warehouse Locations

Rainbow Sounds has several inventory warehouse locations worldwide. Depending on your order, it may be shipped from Australia, UK, US, or Asia.

Shipping Insurance

Our bowls are carefully packed in double-reinforced boxes to ensure they arrive safely. While it’s very rare for items to arrive damaged, we recommend adding shipping insurance at checkout through the third-party provider, Route Protection, to protect your parcel from damage, loss, or theft.

By adding this insurance, you’ll be eligible for compensation through Route, if applicable.

How It Works

If your Route-protected order is lost, stolen, or damaged in transit, Route's support team will guide you through the simple process of resolving the issue in just a few steps. Read more details on Route’s Shipping Protection Policies.

Need to Make a Claim?

If you purchased the additional shipping insurance at checkout through the third-party provider, Route Protection, follow these steps to file a claim:

  1. Go to the Route Resolve Center
  2. Enter your email and order number.
  3. Select the item(s) you’re filing the claim for.
  4. Choose the corresponding issue type.
  5. Verify your phone number.
  6. Provide details about the issue.
  7. Select your preferred resolution.
  8. Submit the required information.
  9. Review and certify your claim.
  10. Submit the claim.

Returns & Exchanges

We do not accept returns or exchanges, except in the case of manufacturer defects.

For defects, we offer exchanges within 7 days of receiving the goods. To qualify for an exchange, you must provide proof of purchase, and the item must be unused and in the same condition as when you received it, including its original packaging.

You will be responsible for the shipping costs associated with the exchange. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Ordering from Rainbow Sounds' Australian online shop and shipping to any location is considered a business transaction under Australian consumer law.

Customers in the United Kingdom are entitled to a 14-day change-of-mind refund, but only if the purchase was made from a UK stockist or reseller. This policy does not apply to purchases from our Australian online shop.

Special note: If a bowl is reverberating sound onto your mallet, it's important to understand how to play a Rainbow Sounds bowl. This is not a product fault. Rainbow Sounds bowls are made with a very high-purity grade of raw material, making them highly vibrational. If you are unable to effectively play a high-grade bowl, we recommend enrolling in Rainbow Sounds Training or a specialist crystal bowl training provider who is also a Rainbow Sounds stockist.

Our delivery costs are calculated based on size/weight of your order and delivery location.

We dispatch orders within 1-3 business days and delivery can take approx. 1-2 weeks depending on your location (metro/regional and country etc). 

DELIVERY METHODS

For customers in Australia and New Zealand:

We use Sendle courier service or Australian Post (depending on the order). Tracking numbers are provided via automated emails from our system.

For all other international customers:

Delivery service is drop ship direct from factory to your door via FEDEX or TNT. Tracking numbers are provided via automated emails from our system.

COVID DELAYS

Some delivery services may be affected or running behind expected times due to the current COVID situation. 

DELIVERY INSURANCE

Rainbow Sounds pay for the first $100 worth of cover. If you wish to add insurance for your delivery, please request this before you order as additional costs will need to be added to your order. 

If an item arrives broken, you need to log a claim with us within 3 business day of the delivery being signed or accepted. 

How to log a claim:

1. Take a photo of the box to show damage

2. Take a photo of the broken bowl in the box before removing it

3. Take a photo of the courier slip addressed to you  

4. Email all images with your original order number to info@rainbowsounds.co

5. In your email give any extra detail you can and also state how much insurance you paid for with your order.  

Waiting time for claims is 3-6 weeks – this is the time the courier takes to process claims. Your claim is with the courier and not with Rainbow Sounds, we just help facilitate it.
